L-Theanine
This popular amino acid for reducing anxiety and depression is known for helping to produce a calm state of mind. In one study L-theanine significantly reduced stress-related symptoms compared to the placebo group.
Turmeric (standardized to 95% curcuminoids)
When you meditate it is important to remove the negative thoughts from your mind but it is also important to retain the ability to focus on a single phrase, mantra, scripture or an area of gratitude.
Turmeric has been shown to increase BDNF (brain derived neurotrophic factor) which may help to improve memory and concentration.
