Power Rack Attachments and Accessories

Look at what you already have before you run out and purchase expensive fitness equipment for your home gym. You will be better served to max-out your power rack by purchasing the many types of rack attachments available.

Not only will power rack accessories help you save space, but they will help you save money. Thanks to the increase in home gym enthusiasts, we now have more options than ever to increase our power rack exercise selection.

Power Rack Compatibility

The options available will depend upon the type of power cage you initially purchased. If you have yet to purchase a power cage, contact our team of Fitness Professionals for help making the right decision. We will help you determine the type of rack you need based upon the attachments you would like it to include.

Certain rack attachments will work across a number of different brands, but you will want to know a few pieces of information in advance:

*What is the width of the power rack?
*What are the size of the holes?
*What is the hole spacing?
*What are the dimensions of the upright posts?

Having this information will ensure that your rack is compatible with a specific attachment you are looking to add.

Power Rack Attachment Options

You will find an attachment option for almost every type of exercise, but this does not mean it will give you an effective workout. Some attachment options are pure genius, whereas others are a waste of time. Here at Better Body Sports, we carry the attachments that we feel will help you get the most out of your home gym.

Below is a brief list of options you will find in our product catalog.

Dip Bar Attachment

A dip bar attachment is a fundamental piece of fitness equipment for any garage gym. Dips are a compound movement that helps develop your chest and triceps. You can also use your dip attachment for inverted rows, pull ups, or even as a place to hold your hands during belt squats and unilateral leg exercises.

Spotter Arms Attachment

Having a set of spotter arms, add a squat rack to your power rack. This way, you can set up two exercises in advance or two people can use one piece of fitness equipment at the same time.

Lat Attachment

You can purchase secured or portable lat attachments that allow you to perform high pulley and low pulley exercises. A secured lat attachment makes exercises such as lat pulldowns and triceps pressdowns an easy addition to your training program. However, there is nothing wrong with setting up a portable lat pulldown, such as the Spud Inc Lat Pulley, that can go with you anywhere.

Jammer lever Arm Attachment

A set of jammer lever arms gives you many of the same exercises that you would get from commercial gym equipment. Jammer arms let you perform exercises such as the:

*Chest press
*Shoulder shrug
*Machine row
*Shoulder press
*Lunge

Create hundreds of exercise variations by setting the lever arm attachment at a specific height. You can use this rack accessory in a standing position or sitting on a variety of utility benches.

Band Peg Attachment

The least expensive option is to add a set of band pegs to your half rack or power rack. These allow you to hook bands up to your barbell for explosive strength training and to maximize muscular development by taking advantage of the strength curve.
