Introducing Better Days
Our version of a stress reducer supplement contains certain ingredients, many of which are part of the Vitamin B Complex that helps you go on a healthy way to ease stress, promote calmness and relaxation.
Vitamin C (as ascorbic acid)
Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) is a powerful antioxidant that helps with managing anxiety, stress, depression and fatigue. It is also a nutrient your body needs to form blood vessels, cartilage, muscle and collagen in bones. Vitamin C as an antioxidant helps protect your cells against the effects of free radicals.
Thiamin (as thiamine HCl)
Also known as Vitamin B1, Thiamin as a supplement is often consumed to prevent or treat low levels of Vitamin B1 in people who do not get enough of the vitamin from their diets. Supplementing with Thiamine may also be effective reducing anxiety and building stress resilience.
Riboflavin
Also known as Vitamin B2, Riboflavin is helpful in boosting energy, increase blood circulation, prevents diseases and important in promoting the growth and development of your body. Vitamin B2 is connected to immune system function, energy production and oxidation of fatty acids…all of which may reduce the symptoms of stress.
Niacin (as niacinamide)
Niacin is a form of Vitamin B3 that is known to help maintain healthy blood cells and also help regulate fats and sugars in your body. Most of us would get enough niacin from the foods we eat. Foods rich in niacin include meat, milk, yeast and cereal grains. Studies have shown that niacinamide in certain higher potencies may help relieve anxiety symptoms.
Vitamin B-6 (as pyridoxine HCl)
As a hydrochloride salt form of pyridoxine, this vitamin B-6 helps produce energy in your body. It is also known to help keep your immune system and nervous system healthy by promoting red blood cell production. As a water-soluble essential vitamin, water soluble vitamins cannot be stored so we need to replenish this every day with our diets.
Folate (100 mcg folic acid)
Vitamin B-9 is an essential nutrient that naturally occurs as folate. It is a type of vitamin B which helps produce healthy red blood cells and is important to red blood cell formation. Folic acid is a synthetic form of vitamin B-9, also known as pteroylmonoglutamic acid. Studies have suggested that taking folic acid along with other B vitamins, particularly vitamin B6, makes the metabolization of B9 in your body more efficient.
Vitamin B-12 (as cyanocobalamin)
Vitamin B-12 is known to support adrenal function and maintaining a healthy nervous system. It is also instrumental to your metabolic process. Some studies have shown that high dosages of Vitamin B-12 helped with reducing symptoms of anxiety and depression.
Biotin (Vitamin B-7)
Also known as Vitamin B-7, Biotin is a vitamin B supplement that occurs naturally in food such as carrots, tomatoes, soybeans and legumes. Biotin is a water-soluble vitamin that helps your body’s enzymes break down protein, fats and carbohydrates.
Pantothenic Acid (as d-calcium pantothenate)
Also known as Vitamin B-5, Pantothenic acid is an active metabolic substrate that is converted into an enzyme called “Co-Enzyme A” (CoA). CoA helps your body break down carbohydrates, proteins, and fats. Common foods we consume with vitamin B-5 include meat, vegetables, cereal grains, legumes, eggs, and milk. It is considered by some as an “anti-stress” nutrient.
Choline (as choline bitartrate)
Choline bitartrate, a vitamin-like substance is the salt form of choline, an essential nutrient densely found in egg yolks, meat (especially organ), and fish. Choline is also found in cruciferous vegetables, nuts and legumes, but in lower quantities. Research has shown that almost 90% of us are choline deficient. Choline deficiency can negatively affect brain development and create cognitive impairment as we age. Choline bitartrate helps the body stabilize choline turns it into lecithin, a fat important to cells in your body. It also produces acetylcholine that helps you maintain a healthy brain function.
Calcium (as dicalcium phosphate)
Dicalcium phosphate contains calcium, which is essential for healthy bones, muscles, heart and blood. Dicalcium phosphate also includes phosphorus, which is essential for healthy bones, teeth and cells.
Magnesium (as magnesium oxide)
Magnesium oxide is a type of magnesium mineral supplement that contains more magnesium than other magnesium supplements and helps you regulate magnesium levels. Besides helping you boost magnesium levels, magnesium oxide is also known to help reduce blood pressure, manage gastrointestinal issues and may relieve depression.
